Broadband Notspot

Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

The short version

This site has no forms, no accounts and no newsletter. We do not ask for your name, address, postcode or phone number, and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.

What is collected

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and to investigate faults. They are not used to build a profile of you.

Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not track you across other websites. If you have blocked it, nothing on this site stops working.

Affiliate tracking. When you follow a link to a broadband provider, that link may pass a code identifying this site as the referrer, so the provider knows who sent you. It does not identify you to us. We never learn your name, what you bought or what you paid.

What is not collected

No contact details, no postcodes entered by you, no marketing lists, no lead data passed to brokers or providers. If that changes, this page changes first and the change is announced on the site.

Cookies

Covered separately on the cookies page.

Third parties

Following an outbound link takes you to a provider's own site, where their privacy policy applies from that moment. We have no control over and no visibility of what they collect.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to any personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. In practice we hold almost nothing, but the right stands and requests are answered.
