The areas the fibre rollout is leaving behind
Across 358 local and unitary authorities, 84,989 postcodes have no gigabit broadband scheduled by January 2029. That is 1,471,838 homes, and it counts every plan operators have announced, funded or not.
We are writing these areas up one at a time, worst first. Each page uses the same Ofcom figures and says plainly what is available there instead of fibre.
