Used to count visits and see which pages are read, so we know which areas to write up next. Aggregate only, no cross-site tracking, no advertising profile. Refusing them changes nothing about how the site works for you.
Affiliate tracking
Following a commissioned link to a provider may set a cookie on that provider's domain so they can attribute the referral to this site. It is set by them, not by us, and it is what pays for the site. It records that a visit came from here, not who you are.
Advertising
None. This site carries no display advertising and no retargeting pixels.
How to refuse or remove cookies
Use the consent banner when it appears, or your browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for a specific site. Doing so on this site costs you nothing, since none of the content depends on them.
